Hi Stampers,
Wow - how time flies - 21 years ago today I became a mom when my oldest son Jordan was born - so Happy Birthday to Jordan. The card I'm sharing with you today is the one I sent him at school to celebrate his birthday (along with a Giordano's pizza and some of his other favorite snacks). He is a great son and we're looking forward to having him home for the summer.
Jordan's card uses the Extreme Guitar stamp - it's one of the individual stamps that I'm really glad that Stampin' Up added in the last few catalogs - they are great for making masculine cards. First I used the Big Shot Top Note die and cut a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock and cut that in half. Then I stamped the Extreme Guitar stamp in Old Olive craft ink and embossed it with Clear Embossing powder. The card itself is Old Olive and I used some of the Sweet Pea DSP for the background. I used a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock which I distressed and 2 Vintage Brads for the center. The greeting is from It's Your Birthday stamped in Chocolate Chip on Old Olive and punched with the Large Oval.
Keep Stamping,
